Therapy is also available for emotional and behavioural difficulties in children and young people I have experience in multiple therapeutic approaches, which allow me to be flexible in my approach to clients and use a variety of models to inform my practice. The psychological models I draw on have clear theoretical foundations and are evidence based. I make use of current research findings and NICE Guidelines (National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence) to form personalised treatment plans. Therapeutic approaches used include;
Therapy sessions will be negotiated, but are typically held on a weekly basis and last approximately 50 minutes. The number of recommended sessions may vary considerably dependent on your goals, but we discuss and review this together on a regular basis. Typically people find an average of 6 sessions very useful. Appointments are available in the evenings and on Saturdays; contact me for more information. |
